Please join us for a conversation with John Jancik, author of Highpointing for Tibet, and John Ackerly, former ICT President and founding member of the Rowell Fund for Tibet, a fund that gives small grants to Tibetans who are working to promote their culture and environment in the arenas of environmental conservation, photography, humanitarian issues, journalism/literature, and women’s projects.
Highpointing for Tibet chronicles John Jancik’s journey across the United States to mountains such as Mount Whitney, Mount Rainier, Granite Peak, Mount Katahdin, and beyond the U.S. borders to Ecuador, Norway, Sweden, Japan, Australia, Spain, and more as Team HighPoint chases adventure in support of The Rowell Fund for Tibet. Please join us for a conversation with John Jancik and John Ackerly, former ICT President and founding member of the Rowell Fund for Tibet, an organization that gives small grants to Tibetans who are working to promote their culture and environment in the arenas of environmental conservation, photography, humanitarian issues, journalism/literature, and women’s projects. The Fund is managed by the International Campaign for Tibet. Tibetans from any country are eligible to apply.
