Internships
ICT’s D.C. office is looking for energetic and enthusiastic interns to assist in project-based work. ICT has three internship terms: Spring (Jan-April), Summer (May-August), and Fall/Winter (September-December). Interns are expected to work 10-20 hours per week, with a stipend of $20/hour. Our preference is for interns who can work in-person in ICT’s D.C. office, but hybrid schedules are also possible. We will only consider fully remote interns in special circumstances. Interns will be assigned tasks based on their interests, professional background and experience, and the needs of ICT.
Potential intern projects include:
- Preparations for Tibet Lobby Day (spring)
- Communications and social media activities
- Implementation of the Tibetan Youth Leadership Program (summer)
- Outreach and Engagement to Tibetan and other communities
- Government advocacy
Application deadlines
Spring: Dec. 1
Summer: April 1
Fall/Winter: July 15
To apply, please send your resume and cover letter to [email protected]. Please clearly indicate in your email the internship term for which you are applying, the range of hours you have available, and whether you would be able to work in-person for those hours at our Washington, D.C. office or a mix of in-person and remote.
Volunteer Opportunities
ICT is looking for energetic and enthusiastic volunteers to assist in project-based and administrative work in our Washington, D.C., office, and volunteers are key to making ICT special events happen! Without people giving their time freely, ICT would function less effectively. If you would like to join the ICT volunteer team, please send an e-mail to [email protected]. We will contact you to discuss the specific role and time-frame that works best.
